Congratulations to Jason Jobe, our March Staff Warhawk Pride Award recipient! Coach Blocker and Carlton nominated him, saying he exemplifies our core value of family by going above and beyond for our students. Coach Jobe took time away from spring practice to bring the baseball and softball teams to the regional tournament to cheer on our Warhawk basketball teams. His commitment to building a supportive and united Warhawk family does not go unnoticed!
Thank you, Coach Jobe, for embodying the spirit of a Warhawk!

We are excited to recognize our January Warhawk Pride Recipients: Ben Thomason, Audrey Thomason, Dylan Henry, Abby Winters, and Kinley Burns! These students have gone above and beyond to demonstrate the core values that make us proud to be Warhawks.
Ben Thomason and Dylan Henry were nominated by their bus driver, Ms. Britney, for their quick thinking and leadership. In December, when she had an issue with her bus, they jumped in to guide her to a safe area and called for assistance. When it was time to transfer to a new bus, Dylan, Ben, and Audrey Thomason stepped up to help transfer students, making the process smoother and less stressful for everyone.
Abby Winters consistently stays after the bell to help pick up supplies and put up chairs while many classmates rush out. Her willingness to help does not go unnoticed!
Kinley Burns showed great care and responsibility by finding an adult to assist a student experiencing a medical issue when she couldn't locate the nurse.
Thank you all for your kindness, leadership, and dedication to helping others! Keep soaring, Warhawks!

We are thrilled to celebrate our December Student Warhawk Pride recipients for their outstanding demonstration of our core values:
Brooklyn Sullivan
Brooklyn exemplified integrity by taking the initiative to help her classmates when they needed it and cleaning up after others.
Ryder Henry
Ryder showed kindness by sitting with a student who was sitting alone during BIG period.
Jacob Henry
Jacob demonstrated kindness by spending several days this week during BIG period talking to a student who often sits alone in class and at lunch.
Thank you, Brooklyn, Ryder, and Jacob, for making MVE a place where everyone feels valued and supported!
Our Warhawk pride recipient is Karlie Crawford. Mrs. Crawford displayed innovation by seeking out new ideas to support our Warhawk expectations in her classroom. She launched the class economy system as a means to reward students for good choices in her classroom. She provided an end-of-semester auction where students could use their class bucks to buy items. Thank you for your innovation, Mrs Crawford.

Each school day, millions of children ride school buses. Did you know that the school bus is one of the safest vehicles on the road? For more information, visit Nat'l Highway Traffic Safety Administration at https://www.nhtsa.gov/road-safety/school-bus-safety.

Yellow and red flashing lights on the school bus are different! Please pay attention and help keep our students and drivers safe!

Due to their large size and precious cargo, school buses have different limitations than your smaller vehicle.
#FlightoftheWarhawk

Here are some important bus safety tips for Students:
Stop, Look, Listen: Before crossing the street, always stop, look left, right, and left again, and listen for traffic.
Stay in Designated Areas: Always wait for the bus in a safe, designated area, away from traffic.
Be Mindful of Traffic: Be aware of your surroundings and avoid running or playing near the bus.
Stay Seated: Once on the bus, stay seated and avoid distractions.
