Our Student Bus Leaders have been working with our amazing bus drivers to make the ride to and from school smoother for everyone.
To help students find their buses more easily, they’ve added animal magnets to the outside of each one — Chicken, Rhino, Elephant, and Duck!

Our top priority is the safety of all students and staff. On Friday, September 26th, Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary will conduct a lockdown drill as part of the state-required emergency preparedness plan.
This is a practice drill only and helps us ensure that everyone knows what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency. Our School Resource Officer will be present to assist and provide feedback.
Please reassure your child that this is a routine safety practice. 💙 If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Grandparents hold a very special place in the heart of MVE Elementary! On Friday, we celebrated Grandparents Day with Kona Ice and lots of smiles. Grandparents are more than just visitors—they are storytellers, encouragers, role models, and an important part of our school community. The love, wisdom, and support they share help our students grow and thrive.
