Grandparents hold a very special place in the heart of MVE Elementary! On Friday, we celebrated Grandparents Day with Kona Ice and lots of smiles. Grandparents are more than just visitors—they are storytellers, encouragers, role models, and an important part of our school community. The love, wisdom, and support they share help our students grow and thrive. 📚 Warhawk families — it’s time to register for the MVE 21CCLC After School Program!

From Kindergarten to 12th grade, every student can join us Monday through Thursday for an afternoon filled with learning, fun, and support. Students will enjoy daily tutoring, homework help, and engaging enrichment activities — all in a safe, welcoming environment. High school students can even ride the bus to the Elementary campus to take part.

⏰ All students must be picked up by 6:00 PM, with check-out starting at 5:15 PM.

Make sure you get your students registered! 🏀 It's time for the 24th Annual Warhawk Basketball Camp! 🏀 Girls and boys entering grades 3 through 9 are invited to join us for three fun-filled days of basketball skills and games! Where: Mt. Vernon-Enola High School Gym at 38 Garland Springs Rd, Mt. Vernon When: Girls Camp - Registration: Tuesday, May 27 from 7:30 to 8:00 am - Clinic: May 27 through May 29 from 8:00 to 11:00 am Boys Camp - Registration: Tuesday, May 27 from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm - Clinic: May 27 through May 29 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm Cost: $40 per student, $20 for each additional student in the same household All participants will receive a camp T-shirt. The concession stand will be open each day for campers to purchase candy, popsicles, and drinks. The goal of the camp is to introduce and improve basketball fundamentals, develop team and individual skills, and have a great time doing it! The Student Voice Team helped bring in the joy of Spring with a fun-filled celebration. We had a special visit from the Easter Bunny and lots of bubbles and sidewalk chalk! It was beautiful outside and the squeals of delight and smiles on everyone’s faces made it a memorable day!

🐾 Our amazing Therapy Dog, Hank, is on a mission! 🐾 Let's help Hank raise money for his friends (our students!) to buy new playground items in honor of Therapy Pet Day on Wednesday, April 30th!
