MVE Elementary Thanksgiving Lunch - Need to Know Information
Arrival Time
• Due to the possibility of rain, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your child’s lunch time.
• Arrive at your youngest student’s eating time. When you check in, staff will radio for all older siblings/cousins.
• If it is raining, the covered awning and the conference room will be available for waiting.
Parking
• The parking spaces in front of the school will be designated handicapped parking, and the front gate will be used for those individuals to enter.
• Visitor parking will begin at the gym. Parking attendants will direct cars to overflow parking by the softball fields.
• Side-by-sides will be available to drive visitors from the softball fields to the gates.
Sign-In
• All visitors will enter and exit through the gate in front of the gym or the gate leading from the back parking lot.
• A designated sign-in table will be located at the storm hall doors. Proof of purchase will be required to enter the building.
• Sign-in table staff will call siblings to join family groups.
• Parents will wait outside the storm hall under the covered awnings until their lunch time. The conference room will be open if it is raining.
Cafeteria
• All classes will enter the cafeteria through the storm hall.
• Students will remain in line, and visitors will simply step into line with their student.

• A checkout table will be located in the grassy area between the front gate and Pre-K, where parents may sign students out before leaving.
