English classes are working hard to prepare for the ATLAS writing exam next week. They are reviewing Writing on Command techniques they have learned this year. These students used a zeugma in their writing. Zeugma is a figure of speech in which a word applies to two others in different senses or to two others of which it semantically suits only one.

Senior Girls punched their ticket to the 2A State Finals after an intense win against Riverside. They will play this Saturday at 6:00 at the Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs.

Seniors participated in mock interviews as part of the College and Career Readiness Class. We require all seniors to take this course during the senior year. They receive feedback from the interview for use in future interviews.

Families met with financial aid officers last night getting assistance in completing the 24-25 FAFSA. This is required for students to receive any type of government financial assistance.

Senior high district tournament begins Monday February at ICC high school. Our boys play at 5:20 against Quitman.
