At MVE, kindness is part of who we are. Whether it’s a smile in the hallway, a helping hand in the classroom, or a word of encouragement to a teammate, these moments make our schools stronger and our community brighter.
Let’s take today to be intentional with our kindness — to lift each other up, celebrate our differences, and spread joy in ways that inspire others to do the same. Together, we can make kindness the norm, not the exception.

Our Warhawks will take on the Marshall Bobcats, and we can’t wait to see that Warhawk spirit shining bright! 🎉 Don’t forget to check out the concession stand for a great meal while you enjoy the game.
After the big game, there will be a homecoming dance on Friday from 8–10 p.m. for 7th–9th grades. Then, the fun continues with another dance on Saturday, November 15, from 8–10 p.m. for 10th–12th grades.
Get ready for a weekend full of memories, music, and Warhawk pride! 💙 #FlightoftheWarhawk

Her dream vacation spot is Alamosa, Colorado, where you can hike in sand dunes and snow on the same day! 🏔️
Catherine says she loves being a Warhawk because, even though she grew up in Conway, she has so many friends and family in the Mt. Vernon-Enola area that it feels like home. 💙
When she’s not teaching or gardening, you can find her singing hymns at church — she loves the figurative language and symbolism in them. 🎶
We’re so thankful to have Catherine as part of our MVE family!

Rebekah will be teaching Physical Science and Social Studies this year. Her biggest inspiration as a teacher is seeing students succeed at something they once found difficult. She loves the supportive community of the Warhawk Family!
After a long day of teaching, her ideal comfort food is Fajitas and Cheese Dip, or honestly, any meal someone else cooks for her. To lift her spirits, she turns to the song "Happy" by Forrest Frank.
When she's not at school, you can find Rebekah camping or going to the beach with family friends. Her dream is to return to Kauai, HI, where she honeymooned, and take her daughters along to see the most beautiful place she's ever seen!
Rebekah’s advice to her students, which she tries to live by, is: "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
