Where was the principal Wednesday?
“Work hard, play hard” could be Mrs. Raby’s motto! All year long, she works hard to make sure our students and staff feel supported. So when the opportunity came, Mrs. Raby and her family hit the road and explored New Orleans, soaking up the history, culture, and sights of this amazing city. Let’s hope she was able to grab some of those famous beignets while she was there!

Teacher Tuesday spotlight! Meet Ashley Bonds!
After a long day, you’ll find Mrs. Bonds unwinding with movie theater popcorn, a Dr. Pepper, and some chocolate covered raisins. Her dream vacation? Scotland and Ireland — she’d love to explore her ancestral homes.
This year she’s teaching the same old, same old, with an exciting twist — a new pathway called Pre‑Educator! What inspires her as a teacher? The moments when the lightbulb goes on and when the whole class is engaged, sharing ideas and learning from each other.
If she weren’t teaching, you might be surprised to learn she’d be doing… well, that’s one to ask her about! But she loves being part of the Warhawk Family because it really is a family.
On weekends or summer breaks, you’ll find her camping in the mountains by a cool stream. Her favorite classroom tradition? The Food Truck Project in Food Safety — it’s a favorite every year!
The best advice she gives her students, and lives by herself, is to always be kind — you never know what kind of day someone might be having.

🌟 Teacher Tuesday 🌟
Say hello to Mary Barnett! She’ll be teaching resource and co-teaching math this year. If she could master any skill, it would be photography—and her dream vacation? Exploring the outback of Australia! If she weren’t in the classroom, she’d be out in the wild as a biologist. Her message to students: Be kind no matter what. Mary brings so much heart and curiosity to our team! #FlightoftheWarhawk

Future Ready Friday 🚀
This fall semester, 25 of our students are stepping up in a big way by enrolling in 44 college courses — with the potential to earn a total of 132 college credit hours before 2026 even begins! 🙌📚
These hardworking students earned this opportunity by scoring high on the ACT or the Accuplacer, which ASUB offers right here on our campus throughout the year.
We’re so proud of their dedication and ambition — this is what it looks like to soar!

Where’s the Principal Wednesday?

📚 Teacher Tuesday 🎉
Meet Virginia Blake! With 44 years on the same campus as a student and educator, Ms. Gin is a true MVE legacy — graduating from Enola High School in 1989 and joining the teaching staff in 1994. She’s gone from Tiger to Warhawk and continues to inspire!
When she’s not in the classroom, she’s dreaming of fall in Massachusetts, baking cookies like a TikTok pro, jamming to 80s hits, and sipping on a sugar-free almond joy mocha at a cozy coffee shop. ☕🍁🎶
We’re lucky to have her in the Warhawk Family!

Did you know that MVE Elementary has a Student Voice Team?
Our Student Voice Team is made up of 3rd–6th graders selected by teachers, our counselor, and admin for their leadership and servant hearts. These students go above and beyond to make our school and community a better place—organizing food drives for local blessing boxes, delivering cards to nursing home residents, collecting costumes and sports equipment, and even bringing joy to Easter Fun Day with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and the Easter Bunny!
They step up wherever there’s a need—and we’re proud to call them leaders. #FlightoftheWarhawk #Integrity #Innovation #Achievement #Family

Where’s the Principal Wednesday?
Mrs. Hyman, our Elementary Principal, enjoyed a beautiful day with her daughter Avery and her sweet granddaughter! 🌞 While she’s still on contract through the summer, Mrs. Hyman is embracing the slower pace and soaking up some much-needed family time. 💙 #FlightoftheWarhawk #Family #WhereIsThePrincipal

Attention Warhawk families:
There will be no practice for 7th grade and junior high boys tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Enjoy the day off! 💙 #FlightoftheWarhawk

Future Ready Friday...
Did you know MVE High School has a Peer Mentoring Program designed to build strong, positive relationships and support student growth?
The MVE Mentoring Program helps students navigate academic and emotional challenges by pairing them with a trained peer mentor. It’s a proactive way to reduce behavioral issues and promote a supportive school culture—because sometimes, the best support comes from a friend who understands.
Referrals can be made by students, parents, teachers, counselors, or principals. Once matched, both the mentor and mentee receive training to ensure a meaningful experience for both.
At MVE, we believe supporting each other is how we all grow.
