Flu shots are coming to MVE! 💉
Our annual flu shot clinic will be held Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary and High School.
If you would like your child to receive a flu shot at school, please complete and return the required forms to the school office by Monday, September 28.

The Mt. Vernon-Enola School District is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Lacie Thomas, a former teacher in our district.
Mrs. Thomas was a valued member of the MVE family and made a lasting impact on the students, staff, and families she served. Her kindness, dedication, and commitment to others will be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
We are thankful for the time Mrs. Thomas spent as part of our district and for the many lives she touched throughout her service.

Last night's school board meeting was full of reasons to be proud of our Warhawks! 💙
Congratulations to Ben Thomason, Kailyn Burroughs, and Kylie Jo Lasley for being recognized as our September High Flyers of the Month! From leading our FFA chapter and showing livestock, to competing in Ag Mechanics and excelling in the classroom, these students continue to represent Mt. Vernon-Enola with pride. Their hard work, leadership, and willingness to get involved show what it means to live out our core values of integrity, innovation, achievement, and family.
We also celebrated Brent Race, Ranea Hawkins, Gin Blake, and Stephanie Engdahl as our September Difference Makers! These four educators were recently recognized through the Arkansas Merit Teacher Incentive Fund Program for their work and impact on student achievement. Thank you for your high expectations and commitment to our students and schools every single day.

What an incredible start for All Pro Dads at Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary! 💙
We had a wonderful turnout for our very first event, with so many dads and father figures showing up to spend time with their students and be part of their school experience. That kind of presence, support, and involvement makes a lasting difference in the lives of our kids!
A huge thank you to Mrs. Theresa and Officer Jones for taking the initiative to bring this program to MVE and to everyone who helped make our launch such a success.
