We want to inform our families that there was a medical emergency at the Elementary campus this afternoon. The student involved has been cared for and is receiving appropriate support.
Out of respect for the student and their family, we ask that everyone refrain from sharing details or speculation. We appreciate your understanding and continued support in helping us maintain privacy and care for one another. #FlightoftheWarhawk

Teacher Tuesday spotlight: LaDawn Ross 🎉
LaDawn Ross brings curiosity, adventure, and a love of learning to everything she does — especially in the classroom 📚✨
If she could instantly master any skill, it would be playing the piano 🎹, something she’s always wanted to learn and is actively working on.
When she’s not teaching, LaDawn dreams of visiting the Galápagos Islands 🐢🌊 to snorkel and swim with turtles. Travel is a big part of her life ✈️ — whether it’s a road trip with friends 🚗, a week at the beach 🏖️, or discovering new places on her long “to-visit” list 🗺️.
What inspires her most as a teacher is seeing her students’ confidence grow 💡🙌. She loves learning herself and seeing her students realize they can learn anything 🌟.
Her advice for students — and a little reminder for herself: explore the world when you can 🌍 and learn something new every day 📖. Life is too interesting not to.
We’re proud to have Mrs. Ross shaping the Warhawk family #FlightoftheWarhawk

Their commitment to our school provided coats and shoes for approximately 90 Warhawks! That is true partnership in action. 🙌

It’s Teacher Tuesday, and today we’re shining a spotlight on Ashton Millwood! Ashton loves seeing her students grow, both in their learning and as people. Watching that progress is what keeps her inspired every day.
If she could instantly master any skill, it would be sign language. Ashton says being able to communicate with everyone, no matter how they experience the world, would be an incredible way to make sure no one feels left out.
After a long day, you’ll find her enjoying a little comfort in the form of Nutella toast. When she dreams of travel, Ashton wants to go to South Korea to visit her family and connect with her roots. And when she needs a little boost, she sings the 100 digits of pi song — because math can be fun and uplifting!
If teaching wasn’t her path, Ashton would be diving into advanced mathematics, exploring new ways to challenge herself and others.
Ashton Millwood is a valued member of the Warhawk family, bringing dedication, creativity, and heart to everything she does and inspiring students to do their best every day.

It’s Teacher Tuesday, and today we’re spotlighting one of our amazing educators, Kayla Lasley! Kayla serves as our Elementary Librarian and Gifted and Talented Coordinator — and she says it’s the best job ever!
When she’s not inspiring students to think creatively and push their limits, you can find her following her daughters to cattle shows and rodeos… sometimes both on the same weekend! Her dream vacation? Cheyenne Frontier Days — “The Daddy of ’em All” — the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration.
After a long day, Kayla’s go-to comfort food is a warm bowl of chicken and dumplings, and her advice to students is simple but powerful: “Be your best self every day and share a smile wherever you go.”
What inspires her most as a teacher? Watching students cheer each other on, encourage younger classmates, and never give up when learning something new.
Kayla says the best part of being a Warhawk is the sense of community. It feels like one big family — and she’s proud to call this place home and raise her daughters in the Warhawk family.
We’re so thankful for Mrs. Lasley’s dedication, positivity, and the way she embodies integrity, innovation, achievement, and family every day.
