During the May Board Meeting, we were excited to introduce two new additions to the Warhawk Family for the 2026–2027 school year. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Allie Banks as our new Head Basketball Coach and Ms. Rebekah Starnes as our new Elementary Teacher! We are excited to have them join MVE and look forward to the impact they will make on our students and district.

We are disappointed to share that the MVE School District was not awarded the 21CCLC Afterschool Grant for the upcoming school year.
We know many of our families rely on this program, and we wanted to provide this information as soon as possible so families have time to make arrangements for their students.
While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we will continue looking for other opportunities and resources to support our students and families.
We also want to sincerely thank our community partners who provided letters of support on behalf of the MVE School District during the application process. Your continued support of our students and programs means so much to us.

Last Tuesday, we welcomed our 2027 Seniors to campus with our annual Senior Step Up! 💙
This is always such a fun event and a special way to celebrate the start of senior year. We could not make events like this happen without the support of our amazing community partners. Thank you to the Mt. Vernon Fire Department, Enola Fire Department, and the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office for helping make the day a success!

Earlier this week, we said goodbye to the 2026 Graduating class of Mt. Vernon-Enola. We are very proud of their accomplishments!
The MVE Class of 2026 has given us so many reasons to celebrate! 💙
This senior class has excelled in academics, athletics, career readiness, and leadership, leaving a legacy of hard work and achievement.
The Class of 2026 includes:
• 3 Highest Honor Graduates
• 11 Honor Graduates
• 33 students receiving the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship
• 13 Arkansas Scholars
• 4 students earning OSHA 10 Certifications
• 20 CTE Completers
• 1 student completing Heavy Equipment Training through UACCM
• 4 students completing the Manufacturing Bootcamp through UACCM and earning forklift certification
• 10 students earning Platinum Level ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificates
Athletically, this class has represented MVE at a high level with seniors earning All-Conference, All-State, All-State Tournament Team, All-Region, and ArBCA Top 5 honors in basketball, along with All-Conference and All-State recognition in bowling.
This class also includes a recipient of the Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship, awarded to students earning a 32 or higher on the ACT, valued at $40,000.
The MVE Class of 2026 earned an incredible $719,960 in scholarships!
