Championship Game Information 💙🤍
Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks will face the Barton Bears on Thursday, March 12 at 7:45 p.m. in the 2A State Basketball Championship game at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
We are incredibly proud of our team and coaches for an outstanding season. The achievement on the court reflects the discipline, preparation, and integrity our student-athletes demonstrate every day — both in competition and in the classroom. They represent Mt. Vernon-Enola with character, leadership, and pride.

Ticketed Entrances
• Convention Blvd./Laurel – Main entrance via Convention Blvd.
• Church St./Laurel St. – Entry through Church Street
• Concourse by Hall C – Entrance from the convention center side
AAA Pass Holders
• Must enter through Church St./Laurel St. (Church Street entrance)
Concessions
• Concession stands are cashless. No cash will be accepted.
Security Guidelines

Sportsmanship Expectations
Spectators are expected to:
• Encourage positively without being rude or derogatory
• Show respect to officials
• Avoid full face paint or masks (small logos allowed)
• Avoid derogatory or suggestive apparel
• Stay off the playing area
• Refrain from obscene or demeaning chants
• Respect public property
• Wear shirts (no bare chests)
• Not throw objects onto the playing area
Indoor Venue Restrictions
• Lighting displays, school-controlled sound systems, and school-controlled noisemakers are limited to pregame, between quarters/sets, halftime, postgame, and timeouts
• Bands are not allowed at regional or state tournaments
• Artificial noisemakers are not allowed
• No handheld signs, balloons, poms, towels, megaphones, etc.
• Spirit squad poms are allowed when properly used

We were proud to bring two pep buses filled with students to support our Lady Warhawks and Warhawks as they competed in the quarterfinals on Friday. Your willingness to open your multipurpose building so our students and staff could gather and eat between games meant more than you know.

Mrs. Prowse plays a huge role in our school, serving as both our Elementary PE Teacher and an Interventionist. As an MVE alum, she is a proud Warhawk through and through.
Here are a few fun facts about Mrs. Prowse:
🏀 Game Day: She says you cannot beat the atmosphere of a Warhawk basketball game, whether it is home or away. Favorite Meal: Chicken fajitas and salsa are her go-to. 🤟 Dream Skill: She wishes she could learn sign language instantly. ☀️ Best Day: She absolutely loves all the Field Day fun!

The Mt. Vernon-Enola School District will be applying for the Nita M. Lowey Arkansas 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program for the 2026–2027, 2027–2028, and 2028–2029 school years.
The 21st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities and supports a well-rounded education through a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities offered during non-school hours.
If awarded, this grant would allow our district to expand learning beyond the traditional school day and continue providing meaningful academic support and enrichment opportunities for our students and families. 💙🤍

This week, our students represented MVE with outstanding success at the 70th Annual ASU Beebe Ag Day CDE Competition:
Abigail Wagler – 1st place individual out of 108 competitors in Milk Quality and Products 🥇🥛
Rylee Goff – 2nd place individual out of 169 competitors in Horse Evaluation 🥈🐴
