1st grade hopped aboard the CHoo CHoo train while reviewing the CH sound, and teamed up with partners using math tools to sharpen their addition skills.
🪄 In 4th grade, it’s metamorphosis magic! Students have been observing their mealworms transform into darkling beetles right before their eyes.
🖐️ Our PreK students are fueling their brains with hands-on learning activities that keep them curious and excited every day.
🔦 And in Mrs. Crawford’s Management class, students have been practicing with the new laser engraver—learning exciting new skills while bringing their designs to life!
It’s a fun time to be a Warhawk—learning, exploring, and growing together!

🐾💙 Yesterday was National Dog Day, and our favorite Warhawk, Hank, celebrated in true Warhawk style!
He ran (but never in the building or in line), he played, and of course, he soaked up all the love and pets from students and staff. Hank isn’t just adorable—he’s also our certified therapy dog, bringing comfort, joy, and smiles to everyone he meets.

📚 Mrs. Curtis teaches English 11, US History, Outdoor Pursuits, Cross Country, and Track. She loves spending summer break with her family floating the river 🌊 or going on vacations ✈️. If she wasn’t a teacher, she’d choose a career that kept her outdoors all the time 🌿.
Her best advice to students: “Be kind to everyone — you never know what they’re going through.”
✨Mrs. Curtis is most inspired when students engage with one another over a topic in class, creating moments of connection and shared learning.
