While we are incredibly proud of all our track and field athletes—especially those who qualified for the state meet—we want to share an important update.
The State Track Meet, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, was unfortunately rained out. The event has been rescheduled for Monday, May 12 at 12:00 PM in Quitman.
While we are saddened that this event will conflict with our graduation ceremony, we are proud of the largest group of Warhawks to ever qualify for state—a true testament to their talent, commitment, and teamwork.
Any student who qualified for the state meet and chooses to compete will absolutely be given the opportunity to do so.
Events completed before the postponement:
Boys Triple Jump – James Rodgers placed 5th
Warhawk events still to come:
Shot Put – Aislin Olive
4x200m Relay – Rory Ralston, Chloe Gilbert, Aubrey Hodge, Holley Kirkpatrick
4x100m Relay – Brandon Heck, Logan McNair, Wyatt Sanders, Lane Loyd
300m Hurdles – Jordan Rodgers
1600m Run – Braden Casteel
800m Run – James Rodgers, Braden Casteel
4x400m Relay – Lacey Clark, Kimber Knight, Kinsley Henderson, Aubrey Hodge
We celebrate every one of these student-athletes and stand behind them with pride and admiration.
