These mock interviews are such an important experience for our students, helping them build confidence, practice professionalism, and sharpen communication and interview skills that will benefit them in college, careers, and life. Basketball is open to students in 3rd through 6th grade and costs $35 per player.
Cheer is open to students in 1st through 6th grade and costs just $25 per player.
All games and cheering will happen on Saturdays!

Her students are often surprised to learn she once taught their parents — talk about full-circle moments! She’s inspired knowing that today’s students will be tomorrow’s leaders, and many of her former students are already successful adults.
When she’s not in the classroom, Mrs. Hawkins enjoys a good pizza, dreams of tropical beach vacations, and hopes to one day master the piano.

We are proud to announce the addition of Officer Thomas as our new School Resource Officer. He will be based at the elementary campus and will also provide support to the high school when needed. This would not have been possible without the strong partnership we share with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office.
We are excited to welcome Officer Thomas and look forward to the positive impact his presence will bring to our elementary students. We also want to thank Officer Sullivan for her continued dedication to our district and the difference she makes every day. 👏

Here’s what Officer Thomas shared about his new role:
“Being an SRO, to me, means being a safety figure as well as a mentor to the kids at my school. When I was in school, I remember seeing my SRO walking around the hallways, high-fiving the kids, and building that relationship. I know when I saw my SRO on campus, I felt safe and could focus on learning and growing myself.
I look forward to being that figure for the kids at Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary. I want the kids to feel safe at their school and know that I, as well as every other law enforcement officer, am there for them in any way I can help.”
We’re excited for the positive impact Officer Thomas will bring to our campuses!
